Canal Top Solar Power Plant Inaugrated
Dr. Ram Pratap, Minister of Water Resources, first in the state of Hanumangarh, Manavali and the second Canal Top Solar Power Plant of the country, released the Sunday. This 2-megawatt Canal Top Solar Power Project, built on Manawali Minor in Gram Panchayat Manawali in Hanumangarh district, will generate about 35 lakh units of electricity annually.
The project, built at a cost of 20 crores, has been constructed by AGV Solar Power Project Pvt. Out of which 7.8 crore was found in government funding. Akshay Urja Nigam had given the project to the AGV firm by doing project work. Now the AGV firm will handle the essence of this project for the next 25 years. Nitesh Goyal, director of AGV Solar Power Project Pvt Ltd said that this project has been planted at Manipalay Minar at 2.8 kilometers. 7500 solar panels have been installed on the minor. Each of which will produce 320 watts of power. The project has been completed in two years.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Water Resources Minister Dr. Ram Pratap said that it has been started as a sample. Apart from this, electricity will be produced without pollution, but the special thing is that it will not evaporate the water of the non-water, putting on solar plate canal will save the land and the water will not be stolen from the canal. In addition, waistage-grass will not grow in the canal.
