National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO), under the patronage of Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, Govt. of India with representatives of ministries of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation and Consumer Affairs on its Governing Council, is an apex body at National level representing the interest of all stakeholders in real estate sector. Housing and Urban Development Corporation and National Housing Bank are important members of NAREDCO in addition to major private sector developers, real estate agents, housing finance institutions, housing banks and a number of associations. NAREDCO, in association with its State Units (State-REDCOs), is involved in promoting nascent Housing and Construction Industry by undertaking various legislative, financial and administrative reforms with the help of Central and State Governments and improving quality of services for homeowners.
